Contest

Enter to win a signed hardcover copy of Where It Began!

You can also win one of these fabulous prizes:

The Andie and Andy

(Hello Kitty eye make-up from Sephora)

Gabby wonders if Andie’s Hello Kitty present from Andy is somehow ironic. It’s not. This is exactly what she likes, and you will too.
The Lisa

(Singin’ In the Rain DVD)

Yes, I know you can rent it from Netflix, but it’s Lisa’s favorite, she knows all the songs, and owning it is better than streaming it, right?
The Billy Nash

(Godiva chocolate)

At various points in Where It Began, Billy Nash offers up highly significant boxes of Belgian chocolate. Have some! (Only yours will be a brand new box because I’m going to eat the entire contents of this box well before the contest ends.)
The Huey

(Grateful Dead tee shirt)

This is as close to Huey’s dad’s extra-large Grateful Dead tee as I could get. Live with it. Sleep in it. Wear it to school if you don’t mind having your locker searched.
The Vivian

(assortment of nail polish)

At various critical points in Gabby's life, her mother, Vivian, zips off to get her nails done. If only she had scads of little bottles of beautiful nail polish (OK, would you settle for eight of them?) perhaps she'd stay home and act maternal.
The Gabby

(splendiferous make-up)

All right, Gabby has a somewhat ambivalent relationship with make-up, which she compares to raw sewage, only beige. But in the hope I won’t be chased out of Sephora by pitchfork yielding sales people screaming, begone, bitch, I am throwing in a splendiferous assortment of Sephora make-up even Gabby would love.
The Madeleine Hewlett

(stuffed mole)

This is the cutest stuffed mole on the face of the earth. Remember the baby mole? No, I could not get you a live mole. You just can’t raffle off live moles, all right?

Rules:

1. You must be 13 years or older to enter (or have the permission of a parent or guardian, since you might be sharing personal information).

2. This contest is open internationally*. You can get extra entries by completing the optional tasks below.

* Well, except for the Godiva Chocolate, for obvious melty reasons.

3. Please use the Rafflecopter widget to enter the contest--do not leave your email info in the comments! They will be deleted. Even though we really really love it when you comment.

4. Contest ends at 11:59 pm on Sunday, March 25, 2012. The winners will have 48 hours to respond with their mailing info. If we don't hear from you, we'll pick another winner!

  2. This is such a cute giveaway! I love the extras that can be chosen. I would be so torn if I won between the awesome eye make ups, or the nail polish. I paint my nails every week!

I also really like the cover of the book. I'm not really sure why, it just really wants me to own it. And display it. ;)

Thanks so much for the giveaway!! I look forward to reading your book whether it's from winning or buying it myself!

    1. Oh :( Now I am sad. I misunderstood the contest. It's the book or one goody. Oh well! Everything I said still stands. :)

  6. Thanks Ann for the amazing giveaway! Silly me, thought this was only open to those who have pre-ordered it, but I soon figured out it wasn't. I would love to win! But either way, I'll be getting myself a copy since I've got a bit of birthday money to spend and I'm looking forward to splurging on some books! :)

    1. Hi Rebecca! The pre-order prizes were so cute, we decided to put 'em up for grabs again. I mean, really, who doesn't want a baby mole-rat doll?

    1. Haha, it's tricky, isn't it? It is somewhere on her website at annstampler.com (the YA side--does that help narrow it down?) LOL!

    2. No it doesn't! I've been there twice and still can't find it. I looked through all the paragraphs and everything! Looks like Ann is being tricky.
